Bandarlampung, Lampung, March 7 (Antara) - Lampung police have shot dead a drug dealer Ade Yunizar alias Kojek, for resisting arrest.
"The anti drug team of Lampung police was forced to shoot the suspect as he resisted arrest even fired at police using locally assembled pistol," Lampung police chief Ins.Gen. Sudjarno said here on Tuesday.
Sudjarwo described the elimination of the suspect as a big job by his officers, as Ade was known to have sold drugs to a number of night entertainment centers in the city.
He sold a number of types of illegal drugs like "black shadow" and ecstasy pills.
"This is another big jobs by police`s anti drug officers here. We would intensify the war against drugs," he said. *
