Solo, C Java (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo's family welcomed into the family a baby girl from Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is the President's eldest son, and his wife Selvi Ananda, on Friday.

"Alhamdulillah our second-born has come into this world. It is a girl and the labor went smoothly," Gibran said moments after the birth of his daughter in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Surakarta, Central Java.

Gibran was reluctant to reveal the name he had saved for the infant, as he was awaiting the arrival of his father, President Jokowi, in Surakarta.
