Jakarta (ANTARA) - As many as 3,027 COVID-19 patients are being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, Jakarta, as of Wednesday, an official informed.
"The number of inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7, as of Wednesday, is 3,027. Meanwhile, the last number on Tuesday was 3,087," an official from the Joint Regional Defense Command I, Septiono Prayogo, said while providing an update here on Wednesday.
On a weekly basis, there has been a decline of 618 in the number of patients, he informed. The number of inpatients at the hospital was recorded at 3,645 on February 16, 2022, he said.
Meanwhile, between March 23, 2020, and February 23, 2022, the total number of patients receiving treatment at the hospital have reached 155,878, he noted.
Prayogo also provided an update on Galang Island's Special Hospital for Infection (RSKI), Batam, Riau Islands.
"Then, at the Galang Island Hospital, the number of inpatients increased by 62," he said.
The number of patients at the hospital increased from 362 patients on Tuesday to 424 patients on Wednesday, he informed.
He also provided details on the number of workers and students who have returned from abroad and are currently undergoing treatment in Towers 1, 2, and 3 of the Pasar Rumput low-cost apartment (rusun) COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, Jakarta.
Compared to the day before, the number of inpatients at the hospital increased by 124, he said.
"The number of inpatients at the Pasar Rumput COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, as of Wednesday, is 3,586 people, comprising 1,779 men and 1,807 women," he added.
Meanwhile, at Towers 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 of the Nagrak low-cost apartment (rusun) COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, the number of inpatients increased by 96 to reach 2,324. On Tuesday, the number of inpatients stood at 2,228, he said.
