Two Country Leaders Attending APEC Summit Visit Kertagosa

Semarapura, Bali, Oct 8 (Antara) - The leaders of two countries participating in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit meeting in Nusa Dua, Bali, visited the Kertagosa tourist site in Klungkung District, some 70 kilometers east of Denpasar, on Tuesday.
Kiribati President Anote Tong and Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands Gordon Darcy Lilo, who were accompanied by Fiji's foreign minister Prince Inoke Kubuabola and ambassador of the Marshall Islands in Tokyo Tom D Kijiner, arrived at the Kertagosa tourist resort at 2:30 p.m. Central Indonesia standard time (WITA).
They headed directly to the guest hall of the secretary to the Klungkung District administration to get some rest before proceeding to the Kertagosa Klungkung.
The guests received garlands at the welcoming ceremony before they left for Bale Gili Kertagosa.
To bless the occasion, Solomon Islands Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo lifted both arms in prayer.
The guests then moved to the Semarajaya museum, west of the Kertagosa tourist site, to sample the local seaweed juice and coconut salad.
They were also amazed by the Klungkung craftsmen's ability to produce traditional woven fabric, string coins and coconut shells, and paint puppets.
During their tour, the state guests were accompanied by acting District Head of Klungkung Tjokorda Gede Agung and secretary of the Klungkung District Ketut Janapria.
