East Lampung, Lampung Province, (Antaranews Lampung) East Lampung has eco-cultural tourism potential
- The district of East Lampung in Lampung Province has an attractive eco-cultural tourism potential for both local and foreign tourists, local Indonesian Tour Guide Association Chairman Rudi Hartono remarked here on Saturday.

According to Hartono, the eco-cultural tourism potential in East Lampung is found in Pugung Rahardjo Archaeological Park in Sekampung Udik Sub-district.

"This eco-cultural tourism potential has its own history, culture, and natural diversity," Hartono noted, adding that cultural tourism can also be found in Wana Village, Melinting Sub-district, in addition to natural tourism at the Way Kambas National Park.

He said the eco-cultural tourism in Pugung Raharjo is quite interesting, as the history of Lampung people can be traced from there.

In addition, East Lampung has an attractive village tourism potential that can be promoted to local and foreign tourists.

East Lampung District is also well-known for the Karang Mas Beach in Muara Gading Mas Village, Pandan Cave in Udik Village, mangrove tourism in Sriminosari Village, and a savanna in Braja Harjosari Village.

The archaeological site of Pugung Raharjo has relics since the times of megalithic culture, such as statues, punden berundak, stone cages, stone altars, menhirs, hollow stones, and dolmen from the classical period in the form of inscriptions and ceramics from the dynasty of Han, Sung, and Ming.
